Almiar River

River that runs down from The Spine through the Orvalla Weald and ends in the Almiar Marshes.
Course
It springs on the western side of The Spine, below the pass of Fort Tarsa. It winds south among the trees of the Orvalla Weald. Before reaching the marshes it passes under a stone bridge, the one on the road that joins Marena with the pass. Then it divides into the channels of the Almiar Marshes, and the main one reaches the sea beside Marena.
It can be navigated by boat from the edge of the forest to the sea. The logs of the weald come down it, lashed into rafts.
